Here at RJR, we believe that the paint or stain applied to all exterior joinery is a critical part of the manufacturing process. Together with good technical design, the coating system is the barrier that protects your joinery to make it last for many years. All items are supplied pre-finished so they are protected from the elements from day one. Paint technology has come a long way in the past 15 years, focusing on applying the paint before the joinery goes out on site.
The coating system we us is Teknos, one of Europe’s leading supplier of exterior coatings and treatments for the woodworking industry. It is a micro porous paint that is both flexible and breathable, allowing the timber to move without the surface cracking or peeling. With a minimum maintenance program our timber windows and doors will last a minimum of between 40 and 80 years.
Teknos have an extensive range of beautiful colours and stains. The colour choice also extends to all Farrow & Ball charts and any on the RAL chart. This covers a huge range of options to choose from so that you can create your perfect architectural design.
